After graduating from McGill University, Hilary Chan-Kent fell in love with Public Relations and Events. Hilary has worked with a PR agency and as an in-house PR, which provided a well-rounded communications education in the non-profit, corporate, finance, fashion, beauty and lifestyle sectors. Hilary’s role as S/S 2009 Vancouver Fashion Week Publicist and current position as Blo Blow Dry Bar’s PR led her to believe that there is a need for a new kind of Public Relations: one that incorporates marketing and events with traditional PR and social media.

Gloss Public Relations was born out of Hilary’s love for fashion, lifestyle and beauty brands, as well as her PR and event background. Hilary is honoured to work with several fabulous brands and serves as PR Director on the Face of Today Board, is a member of Y.E.S.!
Vancouver and sits on numerous committees, including Arts Umbrella.

Committee
